More Emails

This one, then, becomes a strange blend of poetry and commerce. ‘More Human than Human’ so to speak. You get a Real Estate pitch AND some Beat poetry. The .gif is a text pitch, the first line of which is ‘DEAR HOMEOWNER, When these deals are gone they are gone!’ And that’s it. The rest is missing. THEORY: This e-mail is tied to the other, and the DEAR HOMEOWNER deal is for MuMus. THANKS FOR THE FATTY REMINDER AGAIN INTERNETS!

E-mails I received today …

Apparently, the secret to incredible wealth is lunatic idiot savantism (ie, The Forrest Gump Effect). You must either (A) find someone to trick into selling you the Trump Tower for a dime or (B) turn YOURSELF into a complete idiot who can’t type a coherrent sentence. So, if you want in on this exiting oppopunity, click the link which doesn’t exist. And also drink toilet bowl cleaner until you’re a blithering moron. Life is like a box of chocolates. The most important thing to remember is not to eat the ones that are actually pieces of shit. Those, you sell to other people. Preferably via crappy spam marketing like the above.

Thoughts on Micromedia

At what point, one has to wonder, does a media center become commoditized? In other words, when does the electronic device become so cheap to produce that the only way to create profit is via economy of scale? Microsoft’s early entry is clearly an attempt to protect Windows and its OS dominance (in the same way that the X-Box is a check against a media center OS developed by Sony in the form of the Play Station).
